Samantha Farruggia, LCSW
Samantha Farruggia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate emotional, social, and life transitions. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and her Bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Samantha has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings, including in-home therapy, private practice, behavioral schools, and school-based social work. Her primary clinical focus is on school-aged children through young adults, with particular experience supporting individuals with neurodivergent diagnoses, anxiety, and depression.
Samantha takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and working alongside families when appropriate. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and affirming space where clients can build insight, develop coping skills, and grow confidence in themselves and their abilities.
In addition to her clinical work, Samantha is a children’s book author, writing stories that help young readers explore emotional regulation, build coping skills, and understand their feelings.
Amy Hunter, LSW
Amy is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who primarily works with adolescents to young adults. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in 2016 and her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2018.
Amy has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including emergency room crisis intervention, private practice, in-home therapy, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs (IOP/PHP), and inpatient psychiatric care. This diverse background allows her to meet clients with flexibility and a strong understanding of different levels of care.
Amy focuses on supporting adolescents and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, academic stress, family conflict, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. She is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences.
Amy utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals. At this time, Amy is currently only providing services via telehealth.
